Couscous porridge

Pots 1 | Serves 1 adults | 140 grams | 2430 KJ (per serve) | dehydrator not required

1) Mix milk powder in with couscous.
2) Add 200ml boiling water and stir until desired consistency (add more water if necessary).
3) Add chopped fruit and nuts and stir through.

Variations:
Instead of couscous, try oats, polenta, bulga wheat or quinoa. Instead of dried sultanas, use dried cranberries or apples, or fresh fruit – apples, bananas, berries if you’ve got it!

Can make for one person, or scale up. Small volume, food ingredients robust, and can be made with different grains for variety during a trip.
