Polenta porridge

Pots 1 | Serves 1 adults | 125 grams | 2100 KJ (per serve) | dehydrator not required

1) Mix milk powder in with polenta.
2) Add 200ml boiling water and stir until desired consistency (add more water if necessary).
3) Add chopped fruit and nuts and stir through.

Variations:
Instead of oats, try couscous, polenta, bulga wheat or quinoa. Instead of dried apples, use dried cranberries or sultanas, or fresh fruit – apples, bananas, berries if you’ve got it! Can be made with different grains for variety during a trip.
