A well-known spot for swimming, Ellery Creek Big Hole is just north of Ellery Creek South Campsite. Due to the popularity of the area it may be hard to find space, and even if you do, there may be lots of noise generated by the nearby human & vehicle traffic. There is a wheelchair-accessible paved path leading from the campsite to the waterhole (Ellery Creek Big Hole). Good news is you can also camp near the said waterhole to avoid some of that noise and busyness. The main camping area features hot showers along with toilets and tank water. Keep in mind that you need to pay a camping fee to be able to use the campsite.
